It is a moment of great pride for the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES) to be hosting the 20th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery (WCES) at Kolkata, India. It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you all to this flagship congress of the International Federation of Societies of Endoscopic Surgeons (IFSES). The congress is designed to provide academic activity of the highest order, comprising lectures, symposia and interactive sessions on cutting edge technological skill and training by reputed international and national faculty. The Organizing Committee is working tirelessly to put together a world class educational and scientific program for what will be an academic extravaganza replete with tasteful cuisine to tantalize your taste buds and a complete cultural fest. Kolkata is known for its literary, artistic and revolutionary heritage. As the former capital of India, it is the birthplace of modern Indian literary and artistic thought.
